RAPP-IT

Workplace learning is becoming increasingly more important during training of professionals. Reflection forms the basis for future behavior. The workplace is a hectic environment in which valuable learning moments are easily lost. To prevent losing these learning moments Maastricht University and project MMV of the KNMG developed the RAPP-it. RAPP-it is a reflection app for iOS and Android. RAPP-it provides a quick and safe way to store learning moments as a text note, photo, audio or video. Learning moments are also sent to EPASS and can be used for reflection at a later, less hectic moment.

Video Annotation module

EPASS provides the possiblity to assess the performance of a professional based on one or several videos, for example, recorded in the context of workplace based assessments, patient contact, exam conditions, multi source feedback and/or self reflection. Assessing based on videos has several benefits compared to traditional assessment:

Mobile website

The learning process of professionals is stimulated by using webbased workplace based assessments, as this leads to active learning behavior. The drawback is more tasks for assessors, often becuase of a lack of internet access and/or limited availability to assessment instruments immediately after the observation. By providing user friendly instruments on mobile devices, the quality of assessments can be improved and the assessment time is allocated more efficiently. Therefore, EPASS developed an HTML5 mobile webpage that can be used to fill out competence based assessments instruments via mobile devices on the workplace. This mobile page in EPASS is available for all users that log on to EPASS with a mobile device.

API and Single sign-on

EPASS provides solutions to integrate your learning environment, portal or application(s). From single signon solutions to deep integration and information exchange through the EPASS (REST) API. The EPASS API provides easy authentication through Oauth2 with different authentication flows depending on the client.
